Introduction
Villa Lauto is set on the hills of the Parma district (Italy) at an altitude of 700 m a.s.l., surrounded by a thriving natural landscape. This unusual residence has been radically and ingeniously renovated by its owner, in collaboration with architect Giovanni del Boca from Milan, in order to create a symbiosis between the building and the surrounding natural environment. The designer's aim was to make the most of the light that filters in through the small side windows and plate glass panels, showing up the modern-vein furnishing, blended here and there with period pieces in harmony with the architecture of the building.
